New Delhi, Jan 23: India was shinning in Davos today, as Prime Minister took the center-stage at the World Economic Forum. PM's speech reflected all values  that India stands for, it's glorious past, it's hopes, its strength. He pointed out the lurking dangers that the world faces today; the global warming, terrorism, the attitude of each nation of becoming self-centered. He pointed out why India will welcome all with open arms, how its glorious past has embedded these values in Indians and why we need to abide by the lines spoken by poet laurate Rabindra Nath Tagore, that we should wake into a world which is not divided by narrow sectarian walls. Here are the top ten powerful sentences mouthed by PM:

1. Last time an Indian PM came to Davos was in 1997, when Deve Gowda ji had come. That time our GDP was little more than 400 billion dollars, now its more than six times. There were times when a bird tweeted, today human beings are tweeting.

2. In those times if you googled Amazon then all you found were jungles. Data is the biggest property today; flow of data on a global level is creating huge opportunities but also poses the biggest challenges: PM Modi

3. This year the topic here is 'Creating a shared future in a fractured world'. New powers are changing the balance between Economic and Political strength. This is indicating a change in future of the world. World is facing challenges in maintaining peace, stability & security

4. PM talks of the Indian concept of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam' - the earth is but one family. India has always believed in values of integration and unity, 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' which means the entire world is one family. It is relevant to bridge distances.

5. Climate change is huge threat right now, Snow in the Arctic is melting,many islands are sinking or are about to sink.
