Amidst border tension, a Pakistani bride dances her way to wedding in Jodhpur
New Delhi: Thanks to Sushma Swaraj she has reached India in time for her marriage. She is Priya Bachchani from Karachi. On Monday November 7 she will marry Naresh Tewani of Jodhpur. She and her family were facing visa problems post Uri attack. Worried Indian groom reached out to Sushma on Twitter, the External Affairs Minister got the visa done.
On her arrival in Jodhpur, Priya was all smiles. The happiness was well expressed by Priya in a jig. She was given a warm reception by her in-laws. “ I am happy,” said Priya after meeting her in-laws. The bride said that she was always hopeful that she will get the visa.
The confident Karachi girl says that the cultures are same so there will be no adjustment problems here.
Love truly is beyond boundaries, and yes, beyond border tensions in this case.
