New Delhi, March 14: After iPhone 7 and 7Plus Apple came up with iPhone 8, 8Plus and iPhone X in last November skipping the 'number 9'. So next device from the company will be called iPhone 11 and 11plus? If not then whats next, there have several reports that the company is developing 3 new models that could be announced later this year in September 2018. So what can we expect in the upcoming three iPhones.
Here're some of the features that we can expect in the upcoming iPhones
Name of the new iPhone
After iPhone 7 Apple came up with iPhone 8 and iPhone X while there was no iPhone 9 and now if media reports to be believed Apple could revert to its "S" series nomenclature and we could get iPhone XS and XS Plus.
A bigger iPhone
Apple could release three models in 2018 based on the design and if media reports to be believed the company might drop the current 5.8-inch screen and we could get a new iPhone with 6.1-inch LCD version or 6.5-inch OLED model. This was already speculated by the Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
A cheaper iPhone
Apple is planning to make a 6.1-inch model that too at an affordable price and for that the company might omit the costlier components including OLED display, 3D touch and second rear camera so a 6.1-inch iPhone with LCD display could cost between $649 and $749
Ming-Chi Kuo has also predicted that Apple will bring its TrueDepth camera system to all its upcoming three models in 2018. The new iPhones and iPads will have advanced facial recognition which hints at the end of Touch ID.
Virtual fingerprint scanner
While Face ID could be an end of the fingerprint scanner, some reports also suggest that the upcoming iPhone could have an in-display touch ID like Vivo X20 Plus UD that went on sale in China in January
iOS 12 with big new features
Apple's new OS likely to be called iOS 12 and if media reports to believe the company is planning to come up with new exciting features to woo new buyers
While all these are just rumors till now and we must wait for atleast until September 2018 for an official announcement from the company.
