New Delhi, Jan 13: Offering a great news to its customer base, Jio has finally cut the prices of its famous plans which offers 1GB per day data. Apart from this, Jio has also made some notable changes to the tariffs as well. Besides the cheaper 1GB/day packs, subscribers can conveniently opt for new packs which offer 1.5GB data/day.  

Jio will also offer more data with the Rs. 509 and Rs. 799 plans as part of this tariff revision. These changes are part of the Happy New Year 2018 promotion from Jio, and are available only for prepaid Prime subscribers. There have been no changes to the postpaid plans the company offers.

Jio 1GB per day plans: The Jio 1GB per day plans have finally got the much-awaited price cuts of up to Rs. 60 under this revision. With theis buyers now will get 1GB data per day for 28 days at Rs. 149 (down from Rs. 199), and for 70 days at Rs. 349 (down from Rs. 399). Meanwhile, prepaid users can buy recharges of Rs. 399 and Rs. 449 to get 1GB data per day for 84 days and 91 days, respectively. Earlier, these packs were priced at Rs. 459 and Rs. 499.

The previous Rs. 149 pack, which offered 28-day validity and 150MB data per day, has been dropped as part of this exercise.

New Jio 1.5GB per day plans: Prepaid users who find 1GB per day not meeting their requirement can opt for the new 1.5GB data per day recharge packs. Priced at Rs. 198, Rs. 398, Rs. 448, and Rs. 498, the new Jio plans come with 28-day, 70-day, 84-day, and 91-day validities, respectively.

Jio Rs. 509, Rs. 799 plans: Jio has also updated the Rs. 509 and Rs. 799 packs to offer more data to its prepaid subscribers at the same prices. So, buyers of the Rs. 509 plan will now get 3GB of high-speed data per day for 28 days, instead of 2GB per day for 49 days. In fact, it is the most lucrative of all Jio plans at the moment, and is likely to push up the company’s ARPU (Average Revenue Per User).

Similarly, the Rs. 799 plan now offers 5GB of 4G data daily, up from the original 3GB per day. The validity of the plan remains the same as before. The Rs. 299 plan with 2GB data per day remains unchanged.

Interested user can now purchase these plans from the MyJio app and the official Jio website.
