Kashmir separatist leaders getting funds from militants in PoK, Govt tells LS
New Delhi: The Kashmiri separatists leaders are getting funds from terrorists based in the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), the government said in Lok Sabha on Tuesday. The government added that these separatists leaders are in constant touch with the terrorist groups across the border.
Minister of State for Home said,”Inputs indicate existence of nexus/collusion of disrupting elements sponsored by neighbouring country and separatists in Kashmir. Necessary action is taken against such elements in accordance with the provisions of law.” He was replying to a question in the Lower House.
“They are also believed to be receiving instructions and financial support from Pakistani establishment for such adverse activities,” he added while elaborating that the separatist leaders were touch with the leaders of terror groups in PoK and Pakistan.
