Tata Motors Announces Mega Service Camp
The Brand Will Offer A Comprehensive 40-Point Vehicle Health Check-Up
Scheduled to commence on November 11 and end on November 17, 2016, the camp will be held at 527 dealerships across 281 locations in India. In addition, the company has also associated with over 20 suppliers to offer discounts on spare parts, accessories, lubricants and other services.
Tata Motors has formed associations with multiple suppliers to offer a discount of up to 10 per cent on various value-added services and genuine accessories. These will be accompanied by discounts of up to 20 per cent on original parts and labour charges, and other special offers such as a rebate of up to Rs 1000 on new batteries.
The service campaign is part of Tata Motors’ image revamp, which has seen the brand prioritize its after-sales network. In fact, in the J.D. Power India Customer Service Index, Tata Motors rose to third place in 2016 from rank 7 back in 2011.
Last year, the company rolled out new service initiatives, including the monsoon service and nationwide quarterly mega service camps. With new service programmes like ‘Speed-O-Service’ and increased usage of technology like the Service App, V-Tabs and body-repair estimation tool – Audatex, the company is also working towards speeding up the service process and delivering vehicles within 90 minutes.
