New Delhi, Nov 15: Bollywood has given the industry many famous child artists. It is very difficult to know the whereabouts of some of those artists now while others are trying hard to make their mark in Bollywood. Those who are still in the film world have grown up to be handsome stars of the film industry. Given below we will give details about some of these highly popular star kids who are nowhere to be seen now:


Baby Guddu: Baby Baby guddu was a hugely popular in the 80s era and was one of the most famous child artist of her time. Baby Guddu’s real name was Shahinda Baig. She was the daughter of small film make MM Baig. Baby Guddu worked in nearly 23 films including Aulad, Samundra, Ghar-Ghar ki Kahani, Parivar, Nagina, Guru etc. Baby Guddu began working in the film industry at a small age of just 3. Baby Guddu became a household name when she worked in toothpaste and cold drink advertisement. While working in films and advertisement, she earned massive name and fame and became a household name with her cute smile and beautiful looks. Rajesh Khanna had so much of liking for baby Guddu that he made a telefilm especially for her. Baby Guddu left film industry at the age of 11 and began focusing on her studies. Now she is living in Dubai where she is apparently working with Emirates. According to sources, Baby Guddu is also happily married. The time that Baby Guddu spent in Bollywood can never be forgotten by any one.

Darsheel Safary: Darsheel got overnight stardom when Tare Zameen Par was released in the year 2007. He made millions of fans all over India and world with his superb acting in the movie. In the film, Darsheel had portrayed the role of a child suffering from dyslexia. Darsheel has added life in the character of the film which he played in the movie. The film also earned him the Filmfare best actor award in the year 2008. After this movie, Darsheel was barely seen only in a film or two which could not cast their magic at the box office. Now Darsheel seems to have disappeared in the same way as other child artists got vanished over-night. Darsheel was also seen in the dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhla Jakhla Ja.

However, if recent reports are to be believed, Darsheel is all set to make his comeback in Bollywood as a hero.

Parzaan Dastur: The film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai came in the year 1998. Who can forget the small Sikh boy in the film who spelt such magic which can’t be forgotten even today? Parzaan was often seen counting the stars in the movie. Parzaan earned massive love of audience in the movie. Now that little and cute boy from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai has grown up into a huge handsome man. Parzaan had also worked in a few advertisements as well.

Mayur Raj Verma: In the era of 70s and 80s Mayur Raj Verma has portrayed the role of Amitabh Bachchan as a small kid. This is the reason why Mayur is also called as young Amitabh Bachchan. During this era, Mayur was the most expensive child artist who charged highest fees among many child artists. Muqaddar Ka Sikander was the first film of Mayur which made him an overnight star. You will shocked to hear about the current status of Mayur. He is presently living in Wales along with his two children. He is famous businessman there and running an Indiana restaurant along with his wife. His wife is a very popular chef.

Ahsaas Channa: Ahsaas is among the most famous child artist of Bollywood who worked in “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kahana, Vaastu Shastra, and My Friend Ganesha. She has once again made her comeback after completing her studies. Ahsaas looks very beautiful now. She has worked as a boy in most of her films.

Jugal Hansraj: In the era of 80s a very cute kid was launched in the beautiful film Masoom. Jugal Hansraj was immensely appreciated in this film. As a hero, Jugal has worked in many films but success always eluded him. In the yearays eluded him. In the year 1994, Jugal marked his entry as a hero in the film “Aa Gale Lag Jaa” with Urmila Matondkar as lead actress.  After this, Jugal was seen in some other movies including Mohabbatein, Papa Kahate hai, Karishma and Salaam.

Shweta Prasad: She remained highly famous as a child artist. Shweta is now an actress in Tamil films. She has been working in theatres and Tamil films of late. Shweta established her identity as Shruti in a popular TV show in India. Her acting was highly appreciated in the movie Iqbaal and Makadi. She won national award as well for her role in the movie Makdi. Shweta’s name was allegedly linked to prostitution racket as well and she remained in controversy as well just due to this.
